The author has allied with the Onion Ninja Clan. I will continue reading religiously until this happens, and probably after as well. Someone will eventually give this poor girl a hug, and I will be there cheering them on. I think it might just have a happy ending eventually, too? I see a lot of people asking how similar it is to Madoka. The overall story so far can be summed up as "extremely, uncomfortably real." Made me cry. There is also really intriguing lore to be had here.

The narration is brilliantly unreliable and swiftly helps you get peeks into the MC's head and the way she thinks about things. There's a lot of subtle implications for the reader to work through.
